Share files between devices on the same Wi‑Fi.

Send photos, videos and documents between your phone and laptop on the same Wi‑Fi or hotspot. Files go straight across and are never uploaded.

Same Wi-Fi mode
  • Same Wi-Fi or hotspot. Free, nothing to set up.
  • No upload, no size limit. The file moves device to device.
  • Resumes after a refresh. Sent in pieces, so only what's missing is sent again.
  • No sign-up. Works in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
  • Different networks? Add your own Cloudflare relay. See how

Use your own relay

To share across different networks (for example, mobile data to home Wi-Fi), paste the TURN credentials generated from your Cloudflare account. Only one of the two devices needs this. Setup guide

Saved only in this browser on this device. Relayed data counts towards your Cloudflare usage.

How it works

Your browser connects directly to the other device using WebRTC, the same technology used for video calls.

  1. Join the same Wi-Fi

Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network, or turn on one phone's hotspot and join it.

  2. Choose a file and share the code

Pick any file. Give the other person the 6-character code, the link or the QR code.

  3. They download it

The file streams straight to their device. Keep your page open until it finishes.

Two ways to connect

WifloShare is built for devices on the same network. For other networks, you can plug in your own relay.

Same Wi-Fi Free

Works out of the box when both devices are on one network.

  • Phone to laptop at home or in the office
  • Between friends using one phone's hotspot
  • Fastest, because the file never leaves your network

Different networks Your relay

Mobile data, another city, or office firewalls need a relay (TURN) server. You use your own Cloudflare account.

  • One-time setup, about 10 minutes
  • Cloudflare's free tier covers the first 1,000 GB
  • Read the setup guide

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about networks, privacy and limits.

Do both devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi?

Yes, by default. WifloShare connects devices directly, which works reliably on the same network or hotspot. To share across different networks, add your own Cloudflare relay in Relay settings.

Why doesn't it work on mobile data?

Mobile networks such as Jio, Airtel and Vi usually block direct connections between devices. A relay server is needed to pass the data through, which is why different networks need the relay setup.

Is my file stored anywhere?

No. The file travels directly between the two devices. A connection service only helps the two browsers find each other and never sees the file. If you use your own relay, the encrypted data passes through your Cloudflare relay.

What happens if the page refreshes or the connection drops?

The transfer continues where it stopped. Files are sent in 1 MB pieces and the receiver saves each finished piece on the device. If the receiver refreshes, it picks up automatically. If the sender refreshes, they choose the same file again and the code stays the same, so only the missing pieces are sent.

Does it work in Brave or with privacy extensions?

Brave's fingerprinting protection, and some privacy extensions, block the direct connections WifloShare needs, so sharing on the same Wi-Fi fails. In Brave, tap the lion icon in the address bar and turn Shields off for this site, then reload. Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari work without changes.

Can I send several files at once?

Yes. Choose or drop as many files as you like. They are sent together at full speed and saved as one ZIP file on the other device, so there's only one download. Each file can also be saved on its own.

Is there a file size limit?

There's no limit set by WifloShare. Very large files (several GB) depend on the receiving device having enough free memory and storage.

Do both people need to be online at the same time?

Yes. The sender must keep the page open until the download completes. If the sender closes the page, the code and link stop working.

Is it free?

Yes. Sharing on the same network is free with no account. If you set up a Cloudflare relay, any charges for heavy use come from Cloudflare to your own account.
