Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information WifloShare ("we", "us"), operated by Thavasi in India, collects when you use this website, and how it's used. The short version: we never receive or store the files you share.

Your files

Files you send with WifloShare travel directly between the sending and receiving devices over an encrypted WebRTC connection. They are not uploaded to, stored on, or viewable by WifloShare. The file name, size and type are sent only to the device that connects with your code or link.

Information processed to make connections

To connect two devices, a few third-party services are involved. Like any website you visit, they can see your IP address.

• Connection (signaling) service: we use the public PeerJS server to pass short connection messages between the two browsers. It sees a random temporary ID (your 6-character code) and technical connection details, not your files.
• STUN servers from Google and Cloudflare help each device discover its network address.
• Your own relay (optional): if you add Cloudflare relay credentials, encrypted transfer data may pass through your Cloudflare account. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to that service.
• Content delivery networks (unpkg, cdnjs and Google Fonts) deliver the code libraries and fonts the site needs.
• Embedded video: the relay setup page includes a YouTube video in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube doesn't use the visit to personalise your experience unless you play the video. Once you play it, Google's privacy policy applies.
• Hosting: the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses and pages requested.

Information stored on your device

If you save relay settings, they're stored in your browser's local storage on that device only. We never receive them. You can remove them any time from Relay settings → Remove relay, or by clearing your browser data.

Advertising and cookies

WifloShare may show ads through Google AdSense to keep the service free.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.

What we don't do

• We don't require accounts, and we don't ask for your name, email or phone number to use the tool.
• We don't sell personal information.

Children

WifloShare is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
